Yoga is a way of learning to be centred in action. When you have a clear perspective on whats happening, you can react accordingly. This then carries over into your everyday life. Through a steady yoga practice, you will react less to stressful situations, leading to a balanced attitude about life that is both more enjoyable and more fulfilling. The postures are like building blocks. Each one with its own personality, but when linked and used in a particular sequence they take on a totally different nature. Perfection in a posture is not necessarily the end goal, but rather our approach and attitude about the posture, and the awareness we discover through attempting it.

You can only do yoga when you are willing to be guided from within, but firstly one must learn a structure, which one can most easily acquire with the help of a yoga teacher.
